It means soft or gentle like a light breeze. But some words carry sensation within them as well as meaning. And ‘Zephyrous’ is one such dulcet gem. It doesn’t merely describe a type of wind, but evokes the serene feeling of a pleasant breeze caressing your skin. The kind that makes that picnic with your significant other even more romantic.

Origin of Zephyrous
The origin of its root “Zephyr” comes from Greek mythology, where Zephyros was an anemoi, a wind god – specifically the west wind. Associated with spring, the west wind is thought to be the bringer of mild weather and renewal. Over time, the root influenced terms in technology, literature, and even aerodynamics, routinely evoking ideas of lightness and motion.[1]
